Togetherness

I remember when I was younger and all my family members will gather outside the house waiting for 7 pm so we could power the generator.
For me, it was one of the best times because I got to listen to stories from our parents, talked and argued about different things and not just that, we were all together and happy. I did not know what we had then. Togetherness is the key word for me today.

The short amount of time we had from when we all gathered outside to when the generator was powered was bliss to me. It was a period where we got to bond, understand each other’s way of thinking and just laugh.

Cherish the times you have now with your loved ones, the period of togetherness when the only thing that matters is that moment.

Right now, everyone is grown and busy with their lives. We are all trying to make something out of ourselves and such a gathering can only be found either in a figment of our imagination or dream and even if we wanted to we are not complete anymore.

Cherish the times you have now with your loved ones, the period of togetherness when the only thing that matters is that moment.

Live in that moment when you can hear their voices, the moment you can hold their hands, share a hug and laugh together. Be thankful for that moment.
The future is unknown but we have hope and faith to hold on to. With hope, we are sure if we lose them we will see them on the last day but before that, the moment is now not five seconds later or tomorrow. It might just be a “had I known moment” later in the future.
This write-up is not to promote negligence and hastiness but to promote “love in the moment”.

That short moment of togetherness is a memory for you and whoever.

What will you not say to someone if you won’t meet the person tomorrow? What will you do to someone if you know today will be their last on earth?
Be the reason why someone says there is still good in this world, be the reason why someone will not feel lonely, be that reason someone will want to do good and so not regret it.

That short moment of togetherness is a memory for you and whoever. That time and day will not be seen again so make it count so much it becomes an unforgettable memory.
